Surprises
by Michelle ~ November 28th, 2007. Filed under: My Thoughts.I don’t take surprises very well. And today we know that we are in for one at work. My boss sent an email out about 2:30 or 3:00 telling us that there is a mandatory meeting this morning. Then almost the entire department congregated to our office to discuss this email. Rumors flew, guesses were made and idea’s were thought.
Barbie came in towards the end of the gathering. Without so many words she told us that a change was coming and it involved our boss. So, now it really isn’t a surprise, I suppose. Now, its the idea of knowing what will happen to our department. Will we be shoved under this awful area (this has been talked about quite a few times). Maybe, we will go directly under subcontracts? Or we will be left to float along as we have in the past. I guess today we find everything out.
