Judgment Day

Today is the day that Jane goes for pre-trial on her second OWI (operating while intoxicated) offense. I had to ask her, just out of my own curiosity, if she was ready for this. I am not sure why, but her response totally surprised me. She said to me, “Her lawyer knew nothing about her and her first OWI case. So no, I am not confident in what she will do tomorrow.”
When I heard her response all I could think of was that she laid the stage for the pre-trial to be a disaster. And of course, it wouldn’t be her fault. So I am really interested in knowing what happens to her. I have heard about others that serve anywhere from 7 to 14 days in jail and then of course losing your license for some period of time. We will just have to wait and see.
Other than that not alot is going on. The games at work are continuing. Its very disappointing to everyone. We had to tell Jane not to talk to MsCompassion about the work situation any longer as she could get upset and stop giving her rides to work until she knows whats going on or if she will get a work permit. Oh the joys of work.
