I Have Done It
I have given the ‘boss man’ notice that I am going to begin searching for another position. Actually, I did all of this yesterday. I know that he read the message, but he didn’t respond to me. He responded to my team lead. I wasn’t surprised, disappointed yes, but not surprised.
I am not going to leave the company that I am working at, just going to look for another position outside of this department. For this first 15 years, you get three weeks of vacation plus two (paid) weeks at Christmas time. And the pay is above average for this area, so I am certainly going to be staying in the company. I have told others that I am not looking to run out of the department, but keeping my eyes open on what is available.
So I am back to thinking a bit more about working from home again. Right now, I am trying to assess the skills that I have in order to make it a worthwhile venture. And this brings me to my question of the day …
- Do you have an about me page on your blog? And how do you use it? What I mean by that is … do you just tell people about yourself on the about me page? What would you title a page that shows off your talents, such as writing or designing? Please don’t tell me ‘Resume’ page, Hire Me or something like.
Well my afternoon at work is wrapped up with meetings galore. Ok, only two, but still that feels like an awful lot. So for now, I am going to close. I hope that you have a great afternoon.
