Made It Through Friday
We have made it to the end of the week. For a while, there today I was not sure that four o’clock was actually going to make it. Even after a two-hour meeting at the end of the day I was so ready to bolt out of the office. Now the weekend is started, yay!
Today I received a call from the doctor’s office. This actually surprised me. I had thought that maybe they forgot about me. Anyway, I am going to a have an in office procedure to remove the polyp that they found in the HSG test. So now, we are going to postpone the IUI for this month. Right now, I am really trying not to focus on trying to conceive. Although I know with my luck, we will just go along thinking that pregnancy is the last thing that could happen and it would. So do not be surprised if for the remainder of the month I do not mention a lot, because I am going to be thinking of moving ahead in April.
Now this morning at work I received an invitation from the ‘boss man’ about my email concerning my desire to begin looking for positions outside of our department. So immediately, I went to talk to my lead, MrMan. I was not sure if he replied to ‘boss man’s’ email asking about my email stating that I would be looking. Actually, the two of them had a meeting this morning and MrMan told the ‘boss man’ a few things about running a department and his opinion of the road ours is taking. Then I heard directly from MrMan that he told ‘boss man’ that he wanted the option to begin looking at positions within the company as well. I was a little surprised about this.
So I will keep you updated on how that goes on Monday. Actually, it’s Monday afternoon. If I have a chance, I will post after that meeting. However, that day will be quite busy. I have a meeting early in the afternoon and then an hour after that.
