What A Great Day
If you have been reading my blog for any time you know that both Tator Tot and I look forward to our weekends. Today was another great Saturday.
We went out to breakfast this morning, took a drive to go to Goodwill on the other side of town and then drove back to this side of town. We hit the Goodwill on our side of town and then grocery shopping. While we were shopping my phone rang and it was my step-father telling us that they were having a luncheon. His daughter and grandson were coming in from out of town. My brother, sister-in-law and nephew were also dropping by.
Family functions are really my thing. I usually do them for my Mom’s sake. And I was feeling the same way for this ‘party’ as well. But truthfully we got there and had a good time. The food was good, company was nice and we didn’t have to stay for very long. Now that last point is what makes the visit the best! Even Tator Tot mildly enjoyed the afternoon, I think.
Now we are at home and he just finished up watching the Busch Race. And I think that we are just going to relax for the rest of the evening. I hope that you have a good night!!
