We are home. Actually, we made it back to our town yesterday right around six. It was a good time visiting with Tator Tot’s Mom, sister, brother-in-law and the kids. The best part of it all was the birthday party. Poor Keaton had no idea of what was going on. He received some very nice gifts including this cute little rider thing that Grandma bought for him. I was very surprised by Kaitlyn, I was afraid that she would be very jealous of everything, but she behaved like a big girl. We all had a good time. We did get some cute pictures. Ones with birthday cake all over Keaton and good ones of Tator Tot, a person he knows as well as his Mom.

I took my laptop with us during our trip. It was somewhat neat to be able to fish for an internet connection. I could find one, but it was not strong enough at all to register any signal. It was worth a try though. Therefore, blogging and then doing schoolwork was out of the question. I am not sure that I would have had time to do so. It felt like we were going from the moment that we were up until the time that we left. Pancake Day is in September, but I do not believe that we will be going to partake in the festivities. It will be the first year that we have missed it since Tator Tot and I have been together.

Today, I need to devote my day to school work. It will not be today bad. All I have to do is one post and a couple of replies. Therefore, I should be able to get this done before Big Brother is on TV tonight. NASCAR is on this afternoon, but I will not try to be done with my schoolwork before then. All will be good if it comes together. This morning I am enjoying my first cup of coffee. Yesterday morning I had to hurry to get ready so I could drive up to the little store and grab the largest cup of coffee I could find. I love coffee in the morning.
