I survived the group interview that I was so worried about last night. It was not near as bad as I thought it could be. There were eight applicants for two positions. One position was for a financial aid position and the other was more of a collections office position. From the descriptions of the positions, I would much rather be the financial aid individual than the collections person. On the other hand, the collections person does not have to work as many weekends as the financial aid person does. I am not sure if I am even in the running for either position. They will be making a decision rather quickly for coming in to do one on one interview.
Thankfully, today is my last full day of work. Tomorrow I am taking a half of day off. I am not going to do any schoolwork until this weekend. Then I will throw myself into it with great gusto. Tonight is Big Brother. I am looking forward to watching it because its double elimination tonight and the houseguests have no idea. The shows on Thursday’s are live. Tator Tot often seems to forget that and has been asking if I know what is going to happen.
It was raining when I woke up this morning. My temperature jumped way up this morning. One of the charting software programs (I use two) has indicated that ovulation took place yesterday. All I can say is that our timing looks pretty good for this cycle. I am going to wait for the two other high temperatures before I say that I am officially in the two week wait. What has been crazy about this cycle is that it seems since I started taking soy that my breasts have been sore. I think that is what made me think that early ovulation was possible. We will see what happens in a couple of days.

Good Morning! On Monday, I had a positive OPK and I decided to take another test today in order to be assured that the surge had passed. For me the first time ever I had a second day of positive OPK’s. I thought that was the craziest thing ever. My charting software is telling me that I am ovulating today. I am trying to decide if I should take another to see what is going on. I probably will just for peace of mind. Any day I will be able to say that I am officially in the two-week wait. It looks like Tator Tot and I have done the deed at the right times, so maybe it will be a successful cycle!
I found out yesterday that my office mate did not get the position that she interviewed for. I was very surprised. From my side, it appeared that she had all the skills that they were looking for, but in all, honestly I am afraid that her interview skills were lacking. I asked her if she was comfortable enough to talk to the person, she interviewed with to see if he had any tips for to learn from. However, she took off with that idea and thought that I was saying to ask him why she did not get the job. I hope that she will find a position that makes her happy.
Last night Tator Tot and I watched Big Brother. It was as good as, what I had read. Of course, they left out many of the antics Michelle pulled once she was put on the block. Dan has pitted four of the house guests against each other by having them say aloud who they would nominate if they could. It did not matter what they said because he was determined to get Michelle up there. Now on Thursday there is a double elimination. That will be a good show.

It couldn’t of been more positive than the previous days. I am talking about using OPK’s. Wow!! I was very surprised yesterday when I took the test and saw the second line come out way darker than the control line. I was beginning to think that we might have missed the surge. I will take one more test today to make sure that the surge has passed. Now in just a couple of days, we move on to the two-week wait, the worst time of the pregnancy plan.
Tator Tot’s family drama continues. Last night when I came home from work the latest news was that, his sister was going to leave. That changed within a couple of hours. I fell asleep on the love seat early last night. I woke up to hear that his sister was drunk and passed out. Her good friend that is more than willing to help her out is being fed up with the entire situation. Moreover, will soon let Tator Tot’s sister figure things out on her own. Even Tator Tot talked to the brother-in-law for a short period, but I do not think that this conversation answered any of Tator Tot’s questions of why is all of this going on.
I have one more post to complete for school and this unit will be over tonight. Fortunately, next weekend is a three-day holiday and I will have time to work on my final assignment of one of my classes. I am not sure that the other class has any big assignments for the end of class. I talked to my Academic Advisor yesterday. We talked a bit about taking accelerated classes, I just need to wait until the end of this term and talk to my financial person. On a good note, I had to take some assessment tests in order to get into this program. Apparently, I passed those tests with excellence because I do not have to take the first three classes, which brings the total number of credits for getting my degree back down to 180. Originally, when I first looked it was going to be 195 credits. I am not sold on taking accelerated classes right now, but I like to know that I do have that option available to me.
