Last night I watched with much anticipation of the debates between Obama and McCain. First off, I was very impressed with the type pf speaker Obama is. Now let me go back a little, I watched a good portion of the show Diane Sawyer had on just before the debates. It was very interesting to learn more about the candidates. I watched with interest in the topics about the economy, but as it turned to foreign policy I lost interest. And eventually went to bed before it was over. Once again, I was wanting to hear more from McCain, but the stories he injected into his responses didn’t impress me. I thought that he strayed off topic by this speech strategy. I know that past actions give us insight into what they will do, but I was more interested in knowing what they would do today. I am still leaning one way, but anxiously awaiting the other two debates including the vice presidential candidates debate.
I thought that I would wait to blog until I completed my school work for the day, but I tried to do some reading and quite can’t get into it. I think that’s because I just woke up, this afternoon I will get much more accomplished.
Today is cycle day 17, I still am not seeing that I have or did ovulate early and now I am at the same stage I was last month. So much for earlier ovulation. I haven’t recorded the last two days OPK results because I am not sure that they were positive. Again, I will take another test and see what those results are, then I will record them. Why can’t testing for ovulation be much easier than peeing on a stick and guessing? This is one reason why when we return to medical interventions we will go directly for the injectables, no guessing to made there.
This weekend in C’ville is Pancake Day. It is the first time in thirty years Tator Tot will be missing it. I feel bad for him, but he said he doesn’t care that he misses it. We decided to make a road trip there last weekend to surprise his niece, so its not really feasible for us to do it again this weekend. In gas alone for the round trip was about $75. That doesn’t even count food or drinks. Everything is expensive these days.

Yay we made it through another week of work. This weekend I have to totally work on my classes. I might even go to the extent of no blogging until I get a big portion of it completed. The class work shouldn’t be that bad. I have the two seminar’s under my belt. Unfortunately, for what ever reason I would keep getting kicked out of my last night’s seminar. It happened at least twice. Hopefully, I didn’t lose any seminar points because of it.
I am not a real political person, but I have to say with everything that is going on it will be a very interesting next few weeks for campaigning. Personally, I am looking forward to the three debates. Although I am leaning towards Obama, I am very interested to know how McCain stands on specific issues. Now I don’t care what the issues are that they discuss, I just haven’t heard him take a stand on anything in one way or another.
Today is cycle day 16. Another OPK is in my schedule for later today. Yesterday when I took the test, it looked darn close to being positive. I haven’t registered the test in my charts as of this morning because I want to see what the results are of today’s test. But if you look at last month’s ovusoft.com/chart.asp?id=michelle52302">chart, it doesn’t appear that I will ovulate any earlier. Remember the couple of posts that I spoke of a blog that I am reading about where a couple did IVF. Well her beta was done yesterday and they are pregnant. Everything worked out. I was very happy for them. Reading this only hit home how much I want to be in that situation, pregnant that is. So I told Tator Tot last night that I am ready for some changes. Changes so we can become parents.
My eBay listings are looking good. It appears that I have gained at least one more watcher. So Sunday it looks like three of my five templates for sale will be purchased. Today my office mate is leaving early to take her daughter to the doctor. I think that once she is gone, I will work on my school assignments. Maybe getting quite a bit of things done so I don’t have to spend alot of time working on it this weekend.

Why is it that the past couple of days I have been getting up early? Today I was up before 4, not by much but still. I even went to bed a bit later than I usually do. The seminar from yesterday’s class was good. I really enjoy the audio seminar’s. They seem to run smoother than the one I will have tonight. Speaking of seminar’s I should go check to see if the Psychology professor gave us grades for our discussion posts. I just peeked and she hasn’t posted a grade, so time will tell. I am shooting for another 4.0 term.
Today is cycle day 15. I am still getting negative OPK’s. I find this rather frustrating because I was seriously hoping for early ovulation, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. On another note, the blogger than I mentioned the other day is going to get her beta from her first and appears to be her only IVF. I am nervous for her. I hope that everything goes as they want. I just wished that we had insurance that would cover IUI’s let alone IVF. Patience, I just need to have some patience.
Tator Tot had kind of a scare yesterday. See ever since he was 18 he has had high blood pressure. Every once in a while it gets to a point where it goes out of control. Thankfully, he knows the signs when this happens. He called his doctor because he ran out of one medication that he has been taking and insurance doesn’t pay for it. The doctor’s office found one more bottle of samples for him. When he went in to go get them they wanted to quickly check his blood pressure. It was sky high!! So high that they thought about sending him to the hospital. Fortunately, he has a regularly scheduled appointment for next Monday to take another look at what he is on and to get this under control once more.
My eBay sales are still doing pretty good. I have lost one watcher over night, but that’s alright. All my templates will end on Sunday. That’s about all I have for now. I hope that you have a great day!!
